- Printers—You need a laser printer. Signing companies require one. Most notaries used Brother brand black-and-white printers during the notary/housing boom. Used versions are available on Facebook’s marketplace, eBay, and Quality Rubber Stamping Company, which has a few, along with toner/printer cartridges for sale.
- The dual tray is nice for printing both legal and letter paper seamlessly, but it is expensive to start out. Get a printer that allows you to switch out the paper sizes manually. Use Notary Rotary to separate your loan documents by paper size(more info below).
- The basic Model Most Used was the Brother® HL-L2300D Monochrome Laser Printer, now replaced by the HL-L2400D model- on Amazon, Brother.com, and Office Max
